Introduction
Dr. Shipra Shrivastava is a highly experienced Consultant Cardiac Surgeon with over 28 years of expertise in cardiothoracic surgery. She holds an MCh in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, along with an MS in General Surgery and an MBBS from Pt Ravishankar Shukla University.
Dr. Shipra specializes in advanced cardiac procedures, including Beating Heart Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), total arterial CABG, valve repair and replacement, aortic surgery, congenital cardiac surgery, and endovascular interventions. She is also skilled in complex procedures such as redo cardiac surgeries, coronary and carotid endarterectomy, and rheumatic mitral valve repair using the Ship Technique.
She is a life member of several prestigious professional associations, including the Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons of India (SMICTSI), the Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons (IACTS), and the Association of Surgeons of India. Additionally, she is a member of CTS Net and Women in Thoracic Surgery (WTS) under AATS.
