Introduction

Dr. Manas Mengar is a pulmonologist who practices at Fortis Hospital, Mulund. He has undergone super speciality training of DM in Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep medicine at prestigious Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. He is highly skilled in performing basic and advanced diagnostic bronchoscopy procedures like Radial and Linear EBUS, transbronchial lung biopsy, and endobronchial biopsy. He also specializes in therapeutic interventions such as Rigid bronchoscopy, Tumour debulking, Airway stent placements, Airway foreign body removal, stricture dilation, Pleuroscopy and Medical thoracoscopy. Dr. Manas has an extensive experience in managing patients in the ICU, critical care ultrasound and echocardiography, percutaneous tracheostomy, and advanced mechanical ventilatory strategies. He is the recipient of “Professor K.L. Nagarajan Award” for best student of 2021-2022 Fellowship in Sleep Medicine by ISDA.
