Introduction
Professor Robert Hierner is one of the most distinguished Plastic Surgeons and Hand Surgeons with an excellent international reputation and over 30 years of professional experience at renowned universities and institutions around the world.
He is extensively educated in reputed global institutes in plastic, aesthetics, reconstructive surgery & regenerative medicine, and hand surgery & hand medicine. He has vast experience in performing challenging plastic surgical operations encompassing aesthetic and (multidisciplinary) reconstructive surgeries after trauma and tumor resection.
Besides his clinical skills, he is known as an outstanding academic teacher, a professor of plastic surgery, and an editor of the five-volume standard textbook for Plastic Surgery in German, and a two-volume standard textbook on Hand Surgery in German, as well as several textbooks in English. Due to his interest in academics, he has enrolled in the Chief Medical Officer Program, Emory Executive Education at Emory University's Goizueta Business School.
