Introduction
Dr. Charles Bain is a fully accredited U.K. Board Certified Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon. He graduated in Medicine with Honours (First Class equivalent) from Bristol University, where he also completed a BSc in Medical Ethics (First Class). He undertook his plastic surgery training in prestigious London teaching hospitals before gaining the Specialist Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery, FRCS (Plast). Dr. Bain went on to secure a nationally competitive Cosmetic Surgery fellowship where he learned from internationally renowned cosmetic surgeons at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London Clinic, Wellington Hospital, Cromwell Hospital and King Edward VII. He also completed fellowship training in world-class plastic surgery units in Trauma Reconstruction at Imperial College, London and internationally in Hand Surgery at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.
Dr. Charles Bain was awarded a Distinction for his Master’s degree in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and has published book chapters and several scientific papers in the fields of cosmetic surgery and hand surgery. He has also completed the Hand Surgery Diploma, the highest sub-speciality qualification in hand surgery.
