Dr. Alphy S. Puthiyidom is a highly skilled gynaecologist with over 15 years of experience specialising in advanced and complex laparoscopic surgery, pelvic reconstructive and urogynecology surgery. She currently serves as the Head of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital and is frequently sought out as a tertiary referral for difficult surgical cases.
In 2023, Mediclinic Welcare Hospital was accredited as a Centre of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynaecology Surgery, and Dr. Alphy was recognised as a Master Surgeon and Surgeon of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynaecology by the Surgical Review Corporation, USA.
