Introduction
Dr. Carlos Sanchez completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine in 1992, graduating with an extraordinary award for academic excellence. After obtaining his medical degree, he served for one year in the Spanish Armed Forces as a Second Lieutenant Doctor.He completed his Paediatric Fellowship from 1995 to 1998 at Cadiz University Hospital, followed by a final year as a Paediatric Allergy Fellow at “La Fe” University Hospital in Valencia. He also undertook a three-month training period at St Thomas’ Hospital in London, where he gained experience in molecular techniques applied to allergy.Dr. Sanchez specializes in high-risk food allergies associated with anaphylaxis, as well as in the management of children with severe asthma. His extensive experience in paediatric food allergies, particularly severe cases with anaphylaxis risk, enables him to help families work towards developing tolerance to allergenic foods, allowing children to live normal lives without the constant risk of anaphylaxis.
