Introduction
Dr. Nafea AlYasi is a board-certified Paediatric Gastroenterology Consultant with extensive clinical experience in diagnosing and managing complex gastrointestinal, hepatic and nutritional disorders in children. Trained in leading institutions in the United Arab Emirates, he holds an MBBS from UAE University and completed both the Arab Board in Paediatrics and a specialised fellowship in Paediatric Gastroenterology.His core clinical interests include the management of celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), eosinophilic esophagitis, chronic constipation, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and failure to thrive. He also specialises in treating obesity related metabolic associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), chronic liver diseases, and pancreatic insufficiency. Dr. AlYasi has a strong interest in diagnostic and therapeutic paediatric endoscopy, including upper endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures. He is known for his patient-centred approach, dedication to medical education, and active involvement in public health awareness through media and publications.
