Introduction
Dr. Nita Zaji is a Specialist in the Department of General Surgery at Medcare Women and Children Hospital. She is holding the the Diploma in Advanced study in Breast Surgeries from the Institute of Cancer at the Shohada University of Medical Science in Iran and the Diploma in Minimally Invasive Surgery from the World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons.
Dr. Zaji started her career as a General Physician in Iran. After specialising in General Surgery she spent some years working in various hospitals as a General Surgeon before relocating to the UAE in 2004. Here, she worked at the Iranian Hospital, the Medeor 24x7 Hospital and Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery as a General Surgeon for fourteen years.
Her areas of competence include oncoplastic surgeries related to the breast cancer, axillary dissection, and sentinel lymph node biopsy. She has successfully operated a remarkable number of malignant and benign tumors and cysts. She also professionally leads the comprehensive management of breast cancer in the breast clinic.
