Dr. Sakina Farhat is a Consultant in Gastroenterology at the Medcare Hospital, Al Safa. She completed her medical studies in India before moving to the U.S. She obtained an MD in Internal Medicine from the North Shore University Hospital and another MD from the State University of New York, both located in New York.
Dr. Farhat’s impressive credentials include a Board Certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (ASSLD) and the American College of Physicians (ACP).
During her illustrious career as a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist, she practised in the U.S and then in various multi-speciality hospitals in UAE.
