Introduction

Dr. Brian Mtemererwa is a UK dual-trained consultant Endocrinologist & Internal Medicine senior physician at Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital. He completed his undergraduate MBChB from the University of Zimbabwe and attained the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT, UK) in both Endocrinology, Diabetes and General Internal Medicine. His higher specialty training in the UK was mainly from Leicester Royal Infirmary, Northampton General Hospital, Walsall Manor Hospital and many years at the University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. He holds a membership of the Royal College of Physicians(MRCP) and an MRCP in Endocrinology and Diabetes, both from the UK. He is a member of the European Society for Endocrinology, the British Endocrine Society, the British Thyroid Association, the Association of British Clinical Diabetologists, UK, the Resuscitation Council, and an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Instructor.
