Introduction
Dr. Dhaval P. Darji is a Specialist in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital. He completed his MBBS from M.P. Shah Medical College in Gujarat, India followed by DNB (Paediatrics) from the National Board, New Delhi, India.He has certifications in Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Programme (NRP) and Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) from the American Heart Institute. He is a member of the Paediatric Critical Care Society and the Paediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society (PCICS). He is an active member, moderator and speaker of the Dubai Paediatric Club.
During the initial stages of his career, Dr. Darji worked in the Paediatric OPD and ward admissions and then moved to the Paediatric ICU as the in-charge at one of the best facilities in Mumbai, Indiat - the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. He also worked at the Asian Heart Institute as a Paediatric ICU in charge. Subsequently, he relocated to the UAE where he spent time as a teaching faculty at Sharjah University Hospital and led the Paediatric ICU at the NMC Royal Hospital.
