Dr. Geetha Balan

Introduction

A high risk pregnancy is a matter of grave concern for any woman carrying a baby. Fortunately, there are doctors like Dr. Geetha Balan who take care of high risk pregnancies, other routine pregnancies and gynaecological surgeries, both minor and major. She conducts adult and adolescent gynaecology evaluation with special emphasis on menopause related problems, hysterectomies, cervical screenings, colposcopy procedures and recurrent miscarriages and infertility evaluations.

She has tremendous experience where screening for cervical cancer is concerned. She obtained her MBBS from Kerala University, India and her DGO from Calicut University, India. Dr, Balan commenced her career from Mercy Nursing Home, Kottayam followed by stints at Carmel Hospital Aluva, CH Memorial Hospital, Malappuram and as Consultant Malabar Institute all in Kerala. Then she moved to Dubai where she worked with Sirajudeen Medical Centre, Karama and Medeor Hospital as a specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology.
