Dr. Dinesh Ramagowdanapura Sadasivan

Introduction

Dr. Dinesh earned an MS in General Surgery from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore in 1997, followed by an M.Ch in Cardio-Thoracic Surgery from Seth G. S. Medical College and KEM Hospital in 1998. He furthered his education in Australia, obtaining a DNB in 1996, a Fellowship in Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (2004–07), and an FACS in 2014. Dr. Dinesh has attended numerous international conferences and workshops, enhancing his expertise.

With over two decades of experience, Dr. Dinesh has an impressive track record in performing various open heart, thoracic, and vascular procedures. His specialties include bypass surgery, septal defect repairs, valve surgery, redo-sternotomy, thoracotomy, and harvesting skeletonized LIMA-RIMA, radial artery, and saphenous vein grafts.

Dr. Dinesh has served as a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at several internationally renowned hospitals, including Fremantle Hospital in Australia, Narayana Hrudalaya in India, and Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology in Bangalore. He performs a wide range of cardiothoracic surgeries, including valve replacements, septal defect repairs, cardiac tumour removals, and VATS procedures. He has a particular interest in beating heart coronary artery bypass graft surgery (off-pump).
