Introduction
Dr. Mustafa Ghura is a Specialist General Surgeon who earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Damascus and a Master’s degree from Syria. He made a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery and a Diploma in Bariatric Surgery from IRCAD, both in Strasbourg, France. He was named a “Surgeon of Excellence” in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery in 2018. He was named a “Master Surgeon” in Metabolic and Bariatric surgery in 2019. Dr. Mustafa has spent the last 12 years working in various hospitals throughout the UAE. He has successfully performed over 3,000 bariatric and laparoscopic surgeries with his exceptional ability to manage complications. He can also perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as gastric balloon insertion. He has been a distinguished member of the International Federation of Obesity and Metabolic Surgery since 2013. (IFSO).
