Dr. Naveed Ahmed is a highly experienced Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Aster Hospital, Mankhool, with over 20 years of medical experience and advanced expertise in complex coronary interventions, structural heart procedures, pacemaker implantation, and emergency cardiac care.
He completed his Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart Interventions at St. Michael's Hospital, University of Toronto, and holds a DM in Cardiology from King George's Medical University, Lucknow, India.
Dr. Naveed specializes in treating heart attacks, coronary artery disease (CAD), valvular heart disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias using minimally invasive procedures and cutting-edge technology. His expertise includes coronary angioplasty, peripheral angioplasty, pacemaker & ICD implantation, heart valve repair (TAVI), and emergency heart failure management (ECMO, Impella).
Passionate about preventive cardiology, he also provides heart health screenings, lifestyle counseling, and risk assessments to help patients prevent heart disease. A member of the Cardiology Society of India, Dr. Ahmed has worked at top hospitals in India, Canada, and the UAE. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Kannada, and Urdu, making him accessible to a diverse patient base.
