Introduction
Dr. Abdelmajeed Mahmoud graduated (MBBCh) from the Faculty of Medicine – Assiut University, Egypt, in 2007. He then went on to complete his residency and Clinical Master degree in Gastroenterology (MSc) from Assiut University Hospital in 2012 and was appointed as a faculty staff member in Assiut and Aswan University Hospitals, Egypt. He undertook a Hepatology fellowship at the Institute of Liver Studies, King’s College Hospital, London in 2014, and subsequently finished his Medical Doctorate degree in Gastroenterology (MD, PhD) in 2017 and worked as a consultant gastroenterologist at prestigious tertiary university hospitals in Egypt. In 2018, he moved to the UAE, working in the private sector.
Dr. Abdelmajeed has attended and participated in many national and international conferences and endoscopy workshops in Egypt, Germany, Tunisia, Turkey, UK and UAE. He is a member of many national and international societies in the field of gastroenterology and gastrointestinal endoscopies. He has a keen interest in the field of research and has many publications in highly reputed international medical journals.
