Dr. Sushum Sharma

Introduction

Dr. Sushum Sharma did his MBBS (1978) and MD (1982) from prestigious King George’s Medical University, India. He is Fellow of Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh (FRCP-Edin), and Fellow of American College of Physicians (FACP). He received Commonwealth Fellowship Training at University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. He has worked in Central Hospital, Railways, a high volume Government hospital in New Delhi for 25 years. In 2007, he joined Max Hospital, one the largest corporate hospital chains in North India as Head of Internal Medicine. In 2014 he moved to Dubai and worked in a large corporate hospital before moving to Saudi German Hospital. He has keen interest in academics and has over 30 publications in research journals. He is National Board Certified Post Graduate Teacher in Internal medicine. He was member of task force for developing Indian Guidelines for Obesity, Hypertension. He is Associate Editor of Diabetes & Metabolic Syndrome: Clinical Research and Reviews, an Elsevier Indexed Journal.
