Dr. Ramesh Rao is a Senior Consultant Nephrologist and Head of the Department of Nephrology at S.L. Raheja Hospital – A Fortis Associate, Mumbai. With over 40 years of extensive experience, he has been serving patients across Mumbai, from Mahim to Andheri and beyond. Dr. Ramesh Rao completed his MBBS and MD (General Medicine) from Grant Medical College, Mumbai, and went on to pursue MRCP (UK) and DNB in Nephrology. He received advanced nephrology training at the prestigious Guy’s Hospital Medical College and King’s College of Medicine, London, under globally respected nephrologists Prof. Stewart Cameron and Prof. Victor Parsons. He is also a Diplomate of the National Board in Nephrology and a Member of the Royal College of Physicians, UK.
