Dr. Akhilesh is trained and qualified in reputed colleges in India and he did his super specialization in gastrointestinal surgery. He did his education at BJ medical college, Ahmedabad. Post qualification he has worked in premium hospitals of India like G.B pant hospital (New Delhi) and DMC medical college (Ludhiana) where he was working as an assistant professor post in the gastrointestinal surgery and liver transplant department.
He was trained in bariatric surgery from Premium institute of India under Dr. Pradeep Chowbey. He worked with NMC Hospital for 3 years. A gastrointestinal surgeon with 13 years of experience.
Did more than 8000 advance and basic laparoscopic surgery and more than 200 complex cancer surgeries. Dealing with all gastrointestinal cancer surgery with keyhole technique - Esophagus, stomach, intestine, colorectal, pancreas, liver biliary system.
Motto – provide all basic and complex minimal invasive surgical services to patients.
Most memorable moment – achieved 1st rank (nation-wise) to grab a seat in super specialization course in surgical gastroenterology in a premium institute in India.
Most challenging moment – did complete pancreatectomy with whipples surgery in a case of multifocal tumour.
