Introduction Dr. A. Gopi is an eminent Interventional cardiologist with over 30 years of experience. He is a past president of Cardiological society of India, Bangalore Chapter and Karnataka Chapter. He is an expert in complex coronary angioplasties and has special interest in structural interventions like Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation, percutaneous mitral valve interventions like Mitral clip and valve replacement. Also has experience in stent grafting for aortic interventions. He is involved in training DNB cardiology fellows for the last 10 years. Education After finishing his MD in medicine from BMC, Bangalore, Dr. Gopi completed his DNB in medicine & completed his DM in Cardiology from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences & Technology. He is also a fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Intervention (FSCAI), USA. Fellow of the American college of Cardiology, Asia Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology.
