Introduction
Dr. Shyam Rajamohan is a skilled doctor with a wealth of experience in Internal Medicine. Dr. Shyam obtained his MBBS from Sree Siddhartha Medical College, Tumkur, India in 2001. After working as Junior Resident in India, he moved to the UK for postgraduate training. He worked in NHS, UK in Hairmyres hospital, Monklands Hospital and Crosshouse Hospital in Scotland and completed MRCP (UK) in 2010. Later he worked as Research Scholar in Diabetes with Dr. Paresh Dandona, one of the most prominent Diabetologists in the USA, at the State University of New York, until 2013. He then moved to India to work as Specialist in Internal Medicine at Holy Cross Hospital, a tertiary care multi-specialty postgraduate training hospital in Kerala. Dr. Shyam also completed Specialty Certificate Examination (Endocrinology and Diabetology), conducted by the Royal College of Physicians in UK, and was recently elected as Fellow of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow, UK in 2017. He is highly trained in the latest trends in internal medicine and Diabetology. He attends national and international conferences and has presented papers at various conferences. He believes in evidence-based medicine and patient-centered approach.
