Dr. Mahir Khalil Ibrahim Jallo is a Clinical Professor of Medicine and Senior Consultant in Internal Medicine, specializing in Diabetes and Endocrinology at Gulf Medical University. With over 30 years of clinical experience and 25 years at the consultant level, he has led diabetes and endocrine services at Thumbay Hospital since 2004. Dr. Jallo is an active researcher, speaker, and organizer of the annual GMU Diabetes & Endocrinology Conference. His expertise spans diabetes care, thyroid disorders, hypertension, PCOS, osteoporosis, and metabolic diseases. He holds certifications from Boston University and the University of Leicester and is fluent in English and Arabic.
He was awarded twice, A Special Honor & Award in recognition of exemplary achievements in the field of Internal Medicine & Endocrinology and for the invaluable service to the community in the UAE.
