Introduction
Dr. Samreen Jaffar is a Senior Specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Microvascular Surgery with extensive academic achievements and clinical expertise. She holds MBBS, MS (General Surgery), and M.Ch. (Plastic Surgery) qualifications and has been honored with multiple prestigious awards, including the Rajiv Gandhi University Gold Medal (2020), Tata Memorial Centre Gold Medal (2023), and recognition as the Best Outstanding Student of 2024 by Homi Bhabha National Institute. She was also awarded Best General Surgery Postgraduate (2017) by the Association of Surgeons of India, Dakshina Kannada.
Her areas of specialization include oncoreconstruction, breast surgery, trauma reconstruction, diabetic foot reconstruction, and lymphoedema surgery. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Samreen has served as Assistant Professor in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at both Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and KMC, Manipal.
