His academic journey started with an MBBS from Government Medical College, Ernakulam, and an MS in General Surgery from The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University. He then further completed his superspecialty in MCh Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from the Department of Plastic Aesthetic Reconstructive Surgery and Burns, Government Coimbatore Medical College.
