Introduction
Dr. Aswathy Kumaran, who completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Kottayam, has over 18 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with the last 10 years dedicated to solving complex problems in Reproductive Medicine.
She obtained her Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology (DGO) from MS Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore, and went on to earn her Masters in Surgery (MS) in OBG from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal.
Dr Aswathy is the first doctor from India to specialize in Reproductive Medicine at the prestigious government Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi having secured the All India first rank to qualify. After completing her Fellowship of National Board (FNB) in Reproductive Medicine, she served as faculty and consultant at the Kasturba Medical College Manipal Assisted Reproductive Centre. For the last 6 years she has been instrumental in establishing and running one of the best Reproductive Medicine centres in the country at Aster MIMS Kottakkal and has made the dreams of parenthood come true for innumerable couples.
