She completed her MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and went on to earn her MD in Obstetrics & Gynecology from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. To expand her surgical expertise, she trained in Laparoscopic Gynecology Surgery in 2002 and later completed a Fellowship in Aesthetic Gynecology and Sexual Medicine (FCAGSM) from ICA, Indore.
