Introduction
Dr. Abhay Anand is a highly accomplished Senior Consultant Urologist, Renal Transplant & Robotic Surgeon at Aster MIMS, Kozhikode, with over a decade of expertise in advanced urological care. He specializes in renal transplantation, robotic surgery, laparoscopic procedures, and minimally invasive urology, offering cutting-edge solutions for conditions such as kidney stones, prostate enlargement, and complex uro-oncological diseases.
He completed his MCh in Urology from Government Medical College, Calicut, following his MS and DNB in General Surgery, and earned his MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Further honing his skills, Dr Anand pursued advanced training in Laparoscopic Urology (certified by Aesculap Academy, Germany) and Robotic Surgery (Da Vinci, AIMS Kochi).
At Aster MIMS since 2014, Dr. Anand has been at the forefront of delivering robotic-assisted urological surgeries, including robotic radical prostatectomy, partial nephrectomy, pyeloplasty, cystectomy, vesicovaginal fistula repair, and robotic kidney transplantation.
