He obtained his MBBS from the University of Santiago de Compostela and holds a Ph.D. in Medicine (doctoral degree) with Distinction Cum Laude from the same university. Dr. Iyad also completed his Master’s in Interventional and Diagnostic Nephrology at the University of Alcalá de Henares, Spain.
He is an active member of the Spanish Society of Nephrology and the Emirates Society of Nephrology and Transplantation. Dr. Iyad has contributed significantly to international nephrology journals as a peer reviewer and served on the editorial boards of several prominent nephrology journals. For his work and contributions in the field of nephrology, he was honored with the European Award in Medicine – Nephrology in Paris in 2021.
