Parul Thakur

Parul Thakur leads global assistance partnerships and the patient care journey at Bluedot Medical Assistance. Based in Dubai, she oversees the company's relationships with insurers, assistance companies, third-party administrators and healthcare providers, and works to ensure that patients receive consistent, well-coordinated support throughout their care.

Her responsibilities cover hospital assistance and medical travel assistance across the globe. She plays a central role in developing new partnerships, strengthening existing ones and aligning service standards across regions.

Parul brings a combination of technology, hospital and analytical experience to the role. Before joining Bluedot, she helped lead UniDoc, a doctor appointment booking platform in the UAE, focused on improving patient access to healthcare services. Prior to that, she served as Operations Manager at Aster Medcity in Kochi, where she managed day-to-day hospital operations and gained a thorough understanding of the needs of patients, families and clinical teams.

Earlier in her career, she spent more than six years as a Senior Patent Consultant, developing a strong foundation in research, detailed analysis and the clear communication of complex information. This experience continues to inform her structured approach to case coordination and partner engagement.

Parul holds a postgraduate qualification in Hospital Management and has completed the Strategy programme at Harvard Business School Online.

At Bluedot, her focus is on building dependable, long-term partnerships and ensuring that the patient journey is clear, efficient and supportive, particularly for those receiving care away from home.
